Pure and Applied /
Workshop design and production
Project
In early 2013, Sydney’s treasured Griffin Theatre Company began working towards the development of a digital strategy to interconnect all areas of its business – artistic, technical production, box office, business development, marketing and communications.
To jump-start a transformation in thinking within the Company, Griffin commissioned Pure and Applied to research and conduct a workshop to develop the new digital directions for the organisation.
Outcomes
- The workshop led to an experimental piece of theatre Luck, Bad Luck – a co-production with Google Creative Lab.
- Griffin Theatre Company has a growing confidence in thinking and talking about digital in theatre, and with digital partners.
