Pure and Applied Pty Ltd is a small sustainability consultancy that uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support research, analysis and advisory services for our client projects, as well as our own administrative tasks.  We deliver evidence-based advice to our private, government and industry clients across sectors, and across Australia.  More at pureandapplied.net

As a small practice of two people, we recognise that AI tools can help us work more effectively. We know too that any benefit of AI to the advice and projects we deliver is reliant on use of AI that is responsible, transparent, and that upholds the trust our clients place in us.

We are committed to using AI safely, ethically and in line with leading Australian practice, including the Australian Government’s AI Ethics Principles and essential AI practices.

The sustainability of AI tools is important to us – in line with the mission of Pure and Applied – and so our responsible AI practice includes assessment of the sustainability, ESG and SDG performance of the AI tools we use.

Our Responsible AI Policy is publicly available as a statement of our commitment to transparency in how we use AI.
